While I'll be the first to admit that Libertarians are not the most
pragmatic in their views and many of their theoretical beliefs don't work in practice, I think there's a HUGE difference between holding a libertarian view that people should be free to associate (or not associate) with whomever they want to (i.e. free to discriminate) and saying people should specifically NOT associate with certain other people (people of color, jews, etc) and even worse, that those other people are inferior, should be segregated, eliminated, etc (i.e. the views of white supremacists)
The first position is a bit naive and it certainly would not have allowed us to end the widely held practice of the second position 50 years ago during the civil rights movement (i.e. gov't intervention and laws were needed), but the first position can absolutely come purely from a perspective of freedom, and the person holding that perspective can absolutely not be bigoted and not discriminate in his or her dealings. That's a VERY different animal from someone holding white supremacist views and I don't see any linkage other than the libertarian view would make it easier for the white supremacist to legally discriminate.
