Now there's a "shocker" on raising the Min Wage to $15. Hooda seen that coming?:

"It would result in 1.3 million more jobless Americans, according to the CBO."

But hey, think of the 17 million that will get raises! Or will they? Yay, you got a raise, but as for your actual total income after your hours are cut:

"The wage increases would cause total real family income — adjusted for inflation — to fall by 0.1%."

Not to worry, at least it will be easier to make ends meet since we're assured the places you do that at, like McD's, WalMart, etc. which are most heavily impacted won't have to raise their prices. Oh wait...........

"Hiking the pay floor would “reduce business income and raise prices” as companies pass on higher labor costs to consumers, the CBO said." (I'm sure they'll opt for reducing business income first)

But they're sure this will work and it's the right thing to do! Or they're hoping voters forgot the BS they spewed to pander for votes, when Lucy pulls the football away when the obvious is staring them in the face:

"Under her amendment, the GAO would prepare a report after two of the minimum wage hikes took the federal pay floor to $9.85. House and Senate committees could then make recommendations on changes to reduce any negative effects from the pay increases."

But rest assured. This can't possibly add more folks to the safety net, and it won't require raising that qualifying net to cover the new higher costs of living. AOC promised me! And she's an econ major!
