I’m not really sure that’s the right question

In fact I’m pretty sure it’s not. There’s pretty good evidence that employers are going to pay as little as they can get away with. And in a time of shrinking jobs they have more power than demand supply theories might suggest. The argument for the higher minimum wage Seems to be more about an intervention to help correct a power imbalance
