But there is a need for highlighting the stark difference in inequalities of management/executives because it can't all be explained away by stating those people are the best. When you look at other industries that are minority driven, do you see minorities driving the leadership positions? Take football and basketball. Are the majority of players white? No. Are the majority of coaches white? Yes. Why is that? Maybe opportunity gap is a better term. But there are inequalities in the world, no matter how much we wish there weren't. In order to fix it, though, we have to acknowledge their existence.
