It is pretty much the definition of monopolistic
You use your market presence to drive everyone else out of the market, or in this case into your market since Amazon itself is the market. Here's a hint: no one competes against them in large segments of the market.
"Amazon is not a monopoly" is a strange hill to die on. Yes, there are aspects of their business that are not a monopoly like their cloud services (merely a dominant position) but to suggest they don't have a monopoly in on-line retail is not paying attention.
