With regressive nicotine taxes and "hiding" corporate taxes that first and


foremost impact customers and employees before the "rich" owners/shareholders?

They are already paying more than their "fair share". If your concern were really about avoiding deficits, you would put in place a 5 or 10% across the board for all tax payers above the poverty line to pay for your desired goodies, whatever it takes until those deficits are no more. (maybe then we'll finally start getting serious about cutting spending) It's not. It's about telling voters someone else is paying for our goodies, or hiding the truth from voters as much as possible.

61% of households will pay $0 Fed Income taxes for 2020. Granted the 44% before Covid wasn't great either. Maybe we could start by having more pay at least "some share", if not a fair share?
