Military spending should be number one on the chopping block.

Trillions thrown away in the Middle East. Slash that budget first.

But honestly I don’t really care about deficits. In reality we’d deal with them, but the current state of the GOP is not living in reality.

Dems have one shot to go big and pass policies. They need to go as big as possible with the GOP likely to take the House next year. With a split government we can all play the deficit game. Right now Dems should focus on helping as many people as possible, and that means completely ignoring deficits for the time being.
