Frankly, who gives a rip about smokers? If they don’t want to pay the tax…

quit. As for the tax hike for couples earning more than 450k, the argument against that is specious. A couple making that kind of money can afford it as well as an individual making 400k or more, which is the entire point. At some point you have to come to grips with the fact that if we want to accomplish things in this country we have to pay for them.
