I wonder how many people in this country live in a place where


it's a struggle @ 450K a year, for a couple w/2 kids, even college age kids?

I can see NYC, SF, parts of SoCal. I'm ignorant about Chicagoland, Portland, Seattle, they'd all be possible I guess, as "struggles."

It's a pretty comfortable life, where I live, at that level of joint income. Ditto most southern cities, TX cities, AZ cities. Though I certainly agree it wouldn't meet my definition of "rich."
