LOL! No tissues needed, virtual or otherwise. Save those for the Resisters

needing their safe spaces and coloring books, while looking to be "outraged" at every turn. A few points for your thought basket:

When Trump "encouraged additional spying by the Russians after the wikileaks stuff", you conveniently ignore the fact that the FBI already had Hillary's server at that point. Tough to have additional spying on her server at that point. What he said, while playing to a campaign rally, was " "Russia, if you're listening, I hope you're able to find the 30,000 (Clinton) emails that are missing. I think you will probably be rewarded mightily by our press." Seems pretty clear what he's doing, besides stirring up a rally crowd, is mocking the fact that Hillary was so brazen (and possibly criminal) to delete the emails to begin with (hoo doesn't have 30K emails on yoga routines and wedding plans), and that the vast majority in the media didn't really give a damn. But yes, let's just buy the "encouraged Russia to spy" narrative fed to those wanting to hate Trump, rather than thinking for ourselves about whether that could even be done considering where the server was at that point.

Hoo cares about the inauguration crowd statement? Apparently you do, you brought it up. Just like it's always brought up by those wanting to use it to bash Trump, and push their "alternative facts" nonsense. Why is it the righties almost never start that conversation? And once again you continue to ignore why it was brought up - as a response to the "fake news" attempt to slam him for his crowd size. But let's double down on that claim that Trump initiated it because "he just had to weigh in on his inaugural crowd size" and it was their "chosen point of emphasis", not the media that ran the meant-to-distort-reality photos the day before.

I have never called for an end to the Mueller investigation, and even repeated that I thought it should continue in that post. But I think it's fair at some point to expect to see what it's producing towards it's mission (even if that's just produced to select oversight folks behind closed doors) if anything. And yes I realize there are valid reasons to limit information about an ongoing investigation, but did we have to wait until Monica's blue dress to know there wasn't anything coming from Whitewater? I do recognize most of the calls to end the investigation are politically motivated, just like the calls to end Starr were. But Mueller & Co. should still have a duty to not leave that cloud out there indefinitely without producing something that shows the cloud is indeed valid.

Finally, I said at the time that the Comey firing was stupid, and I seem to think more highly of him and what he did than most here, on either side. I've posted as such numerous times. So I have no idea why you would think I'm "twisting creatively to make him a scapegoat".
