Last I checked, there was still a party that supports taxing “capital” and
Investing in things like public education, healthcare, affordable housing, transportation, training, public works projects, etc. — the kinds of initiatives that may actually benefit working class America and help many of them transition to the 21st Century workforce.
Or we can pretend that talking smack to China about a trade war or talking about “bringing coal back” is going to magically transplant some of these towns back to 1965 when every able bodied man had a steady job at the mill. And give away a huge tax cut to “capital” while talking about it.
IMHO, the choice should be easy and thats why the GOP spends so much time and effort on culture war issues (quite successfully).
On a side note, you dont believe Trump actually stands for working people do you?
