When my wife got breast cancer

It just happened some Canadian friend's wife was stricken with the same disease at the same time.

I was very interested to see how the two protocols would compare. In short, they were virtually identical with similar treatments over a similar timeframe.

So far as I could see, the biggest difference was that there assets were not at risk to medical bankruptcy for what amounted to nearly 1/3 a million bucks for Mrs. Shen's treatments.

The Canadian lived and my wife didn't. But that is cancer where the survivial rate is near 50%.

But I saw no disadvantage to being treated under their system for cancer and one huge advantage.
