Fine, would it be better if I said we're back to the rich paying for it

AND reinstating a brain debt corporate tax policy that makes our rates totally non-competitive with the rest of the developed world and encourages corporations to invest and shift profits overseas.

Plus, I'm skeptical how much of the $1.5 "price tag" for the trump cuts will actually be realized from the corporate tax cuts. Corporate income taxes only make up ~10% of total federal tax revenues or roughly $300b per year. Assuming static analysis, the cut from 35% to 21% should cost ~$120b per year, but static analysis is not the right way to look at corporate tax cuts. After the corporate tax reform was passed, Apple announced plans to repatriate the vast majority of it's overseas cash and pay ~$40 billion in taxes. So just ONE company would offset 1/3 of the annual cost cost of the tax cut. While Apple has by far the biggest overseas stockpile of cash, there are numerous others in the tech and healthcare space (MSFT, Google, Cisco, oracle, J&J) that I expect will also INCREASE their US cash tax liability as a result of the corporate tax reform.
