Lack of standardized pricing is the biggest difference between

us and the rest of the world. Everyone else has that, and from what I've read it's the biggest factor in our costs being way out of whack comparatively. 17% GDP on healthcare, second most costly is 11%. Singapore at 4-5% GDP is less than the difference between the US and second highest spending country. Standardization is about reducing administrative costs on both insurer and provider sides and limiting 'get as much as you can extract' pricing.
