The dude in the article said "HE'LL DIE OF THOSE INJURIES"
Last I checked shooting someone and having them die of their injuries is the same as shooting and killing them. If you want to quibble semantics over whether the AR-15 is designed to kill immediately, or *merely* cause a horrific, devastating injury that causes people to make blood curdling sounds and which only kills them after an hour or so, sorry, I'm not going to get sucked into that vortex of stupid. That's a distinction without a difference, and I'd argue the fact that the AR-15 is not only designed to kill, but is designed to kill SLOWLY while inflicting maximum suffering on the victim makes the fact that this weapon is available to the public with no restrictions whatsoever even more absurd.
And I'd love for you to show me the excerpt from the USAF training manual, because it sounds like you've been sucked in by a myth.
