So let's just make it easy for them to wound massive numbers
of students (who will later die) with an AR-15 since an atrocity happened without a gun more than 90 years ago? And last I checked, it's not as easy to go procure hundreds of pounds of dynamite as it was in 1927.
A lot has to go right to plan out and successfully execute an attack using explosives. There are far more opportunities for the would be perpetrator to be discovered (hmmm... exactly why does Mr. Kehoe need hundreds of pounds of dynamite, and come to think of it, has anyone seen Mrs Kehoe lately), to blow THEMSELVES up, to have the device not detonate properly.
But stopping by guns n' guitars, picking up a military-level arsenal of weapons and ammunition, ubering to your local school and opening fire guarantees an almost a certain level of success. These weapons are built to make killing (I'm sorry, wounding people who will later die) very easy and efficient. So because SOME people pulled off a far more difficult means of killing people, we should go ahead and give the all clear for people to use the much easier and efficient methods?
Awesome.
