You are right about the percentages, it was late, I was wrong
But you keep comparing our gun fatalities to Europes. Ofcourse ours will be higher...we have more guns, more open space, less police per mile. We aren't setup at all like Europe and should stop trying to compare ourselves to them. We have a problems in this country, socially/economically/culturally that I feel have a much greater impact on why these things happen then a tool. Banning the tool doesn't fix the problem. It's a knee jerk reaction to a problem.
And yes, telling me I can't purchase something because some other asshat did something stupid with it is punishing/restricting me. It's acting as if the tool itself was the cause. It wasn't.
We won't agree on this.
