I choose
I choose not to have kids.
I choose to try to have a career, where one parent could stay home if we choose.
I done without "extras" in life, and would be willing to live off one income.
I see the value in one parent staying home, but staying at home is not for everyone.
There are plenty of dual working parents or divorce parents doing night and weekend things with their kids. There is nothing wrong with doing without to spend time with the kids. Hell, a ton of parents could just stay away from TV sports and Facebook on weekends to give that time to kids.
Are working parents the cause? I think it could be one of many elements (i.e. social media bullying) and I am not sure the level of responsibility for each element of the sum of the parts. Yes, we can talk about dual working\divorce parents, but only as part of the problem, not a root cause IMHO.
