Congress isn't going to pass a redistricting law to fix itself. It's dangerous -- aside from a few sea change years like 2005 and 2009, we have been in an environment where everything constructive is done by the executive branch since the late 1990's. We are now seeing what that looks like when the president is shady, untrustworthy, and fucking stupid. Maybe this election was just an attempt by some to blow the whole thing up -- although it was a shocking display of stupidity and shortsightedness by the American electorate. To your link above it's like giving yourself terminal cancer to bring down your cholesterol levels. We should be demanding legislator reform and voting out Koch Brother butt boys but we just aren't smart enough as a country to see the real problems for what they are.
