It's never okay, period

Northam should go. I'm not necessarily there on Herring. Herring's apology should open the door to have a real discussion about how racist the country is. We need to confront that. But Americans don't want to mentally deal with the fact that we are still dealing with issues. Until we admit we have a problem, we can't deal with it. Howard Schultz line of I don't see color is a perfect example of what is wrong - we pretend like we don't have implicit biases when we all do.
