In our lifetime or the next 100 years if ever. Humans aren’t perfect. We’ll always find something to have a bias about, be it race, weight, IQ, height, nationality or something we haven’t even thought about yet like a genetic abnormality. That doesn’t mean racial biases are as bad as Dems make out. Dems are pushing the race card because of politics & they think it’s to their benefit to play the victim. It doesn’t, it just kicks the can down the road.
Times change. Yeah, it was in poor taste to wear black face in the 80’s but it wasn’t nearly the hot trigger as it is now especially with social media. People have always said or done stupid things to be funny without thinking about the consequences to others. I doubt Northam or Herring we’re racist then but even if they were... people are capable of change. The whole world has changed a tremendous amount since the 80’s.
I still find it interesting that a black man designed the memorial for Al Jolson, who was once dubbed “The World’s Greatest Entertainer” & he made a career of using blackface. When Jolson died, his wife hired Paul Williams a black Architect in 1951 to design the memorial. He was not obligated to design the memorial for the man who regularly used Blackface. Times change.
If the left really cared about race relations they would stop stop fanning racial tension for political & personal gains.
