Not really. Trump's attitude towards women is crystal clear and even on

tape. The guy trades in wives like a rich guy who trades in sports cars and the guy has been clear that women are basically just walking holes to him. I'm not going to say he's raped anyone -- he has been accused of sexual assault and creepy behavior all over creation, but obviously nothing that has ever resulted in criminal charges. But no one needs to set him up to determine he's a misogynistic creep. That's got a 40 year history behind it.

Regarding Kavanaugh, I agree. I don't think there was enough there to remove the guy from the bench by any stretch. It was a judgment call as to whether he should have been confirmed to a lifetime SCOTUS appointment, but both he and one of his two (credible) accusers were given a chance to be heard, so there was more to go by than sketchy press stories. I don't think he should have, but a lot of that comes from his own behavior during the hearings. I also would note that Dr. Ford testified for a full hour under oath and there was a second accuser who was never really heard but also was never discredited in any way. There certainly was enough there to raise doubt about his suitability for that position. That said, I certainly don't think Brett Kavanugh in 2019 is some kind of sexual deviant who abuses women. I do think it's likely he behaved in appropriately in the 1980s and lied under oath about it as well as a bunch of trivial things and showed no regard for the oath he took before testifying or respect for the Senate confirmation process. That alone makes him dangerous as a SCOTUS justice.

Regarding Fairfax, I'm admittedly biased in his favor, but I don't think he would be confirmed to a judicial appointment or win an election with this hanging over his head. Even with one of his accusers sounding like a Jackie/Swetnick type and the other sounding more like someone who went to his room and hooked up with him then decided to cast aspersions about it after he became famous and important than some sort of real victim. But his accusers do deserve a right to be heard and he deserves a chance to be heard as well if it comes to that. If the women seem credible or if he behaves the way Kavanaugh did, I think it would be impeachable. He certainly wouldn't win an election or be confirmed to a lifetime judicial appointment the way Kavanaugh was with that on him nor should he.
