Absolutely! And one of the biggest problems with ACA (and
overall even for those not on Medicaid). All good and well to give people 100% paid for Medicaid, but if you don't increase the supply of providers (which I understand the AMA and Med School accrediting agencies play a big role in but correct me if wrong), and/or the payouts (actual program cost) to get more existing providers to take those patients, it doesn't do them much good. (or actually harm to current recipients when new demand saps up stagnant/shrinking supply)
It seems like one of the biggest blunders of all this IMO, and one never mentioned by those screaming about Medicaid "cuts". It's like we just ignored basic supply and demand principles, when that should be the first place to look IMO.
