I don't think there's any evidence this is "a guy who thinks he
can assault women". He may have been a stupid drunk kid that made a really bad decision, and if that "bad decision" is exactly as described by Ford (putting aside the fact that we will never know), it goes beyond a simple drunken "bad decision" to make an aggressive, unwanted pass at a coed and sounds more like attempted rape and it should keep him off the court. But, if he really was "a guy who thinks he can assault women", I think you'd hear about more than ONE uncorroborated incident from 36 or 37 years ago. When stuff comes out about men who "think they can assault women", it's not one, or two, or three, or four.... it's dozens (Harvey Weinstein, Les Moonves, Louis CK, Charlie Rose, etc).
The leaps that people are making to suggest he's "a guy who thinks he can assault women" or a guy who "views women as something to be acquired or a target" based on a single unsubstantiated claim from 36 o 37 years ago when he was a minor are just beyond ridiculous. Perhaps he shouldn't be on the court as punishment for what he did 37 years ago, but so far no one has presented any evidence that a) he even did this in the first place or b) he has demonstrated any pattern of this type of view towards women at any other time in his live.
