Yep. Our reputations are our brand and if we’re going to invest up to
seven or even eight figures to bring someone one with an equity share in our firm, we dont take chances that we’re going to inherit a problem. It can be as simple as someone who know the candidate saying he/she has trouble playing nice with others or mistreats associates.
If there is any reputation about sexual harrassment or assault, put on the hazmat suit. No fucking way, not in this day and age. And yes, that is a business decision not some Dudley Do-Right on a mission.
Well over half of my primary client contacts are women these days and so are many of our most talented partners and associates. That shit dont fly.
