Is that a "normative discussion?" Those are tweets.
I mean, you might be right about those being the things that set SC off. But that is not characteristic of the manner in which the confirmation process is playing out. Asking the FBI to investigate is the opposite of "believe women". It is hearing a woman and taking her seriously enough to investigate her claims. Even just the context of the word "believe" in that short little tweet - don't dismiss.
In any event, a couple of tweets, even if 4700 people are talking about, hardly amounts to a "believe women/accusers" mantra, and certainly does not have anything to do with "innocence until proven guilty".
