No, you as usual have no clue what you're braying about. RBG was NOT
considered anything close to an extremist when she was nominated. A Republican suggested her as an acceptable moderate. Clinton took his suggestion and that's why she was confirmed so easily. Same goes for Republican consensus nominees like Souter and O'Connor. What Ginsburg said was the process was bipartisan -- in other words, the nominee was usually someone acceptable to leadership on both sides of the aisle, not an extremist because it's your turn to nominate an extremist that is fought tooth in nail by the other party. And to be fair, GARLAND is the one who should have been treated that way.
Anyhow, being critical of how politicized the nomination process has become is legitimate and different from this case. We aren't usually discussing attempted rape allegations. I think this is a first, in fact.
Maybe the Republicans should have found a better nominee.
